Capitalism recently offered me a way to save a couple bucks on my bills. Verizon Wireless apparently has some deal with Disney that allows you to get Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for free as part of your wireless package. As luck would have it, my plan included that bundle. Sweet! Sign me up. I had been using the Spotify + Hulu plan to get my Bob's Burger fix so Hulu is important enough to pay for, but probably not by itself. I thought the Capitalism gods had smiled in my direction, but no.

When you have the Spotify bundle, there is a giant button on the Account page, that says Deactivate Hulu. I clicked the button and it failed with a bright red message that said "Something went wrong, please contact support". After an hour, Spotify Support and I figure out that we had to cancel and re-enable my Premium Spotify subscription. Yay! ๐ŸŽŠ.

After that debacle I followed the instructions to link Verizon --> Disney+ --> Hulu. Disney+ worked! ๐ŸŽŠ but when following the link to connect Hulu, I was greeted with:

I was going to snap a screenshot but when I tried to reproduce it for this blog post it worked. My anger has subsided. Software is good again ๐Ÿ˜…
